Position: Senior Account Executive, Multicultural (Sponsorship & Event Marketing)

Intersport, a 25-year old sports and entertainment marketing company specializing in strategy, activation and content, is seeking a qualified Senior Account Executive within the Sponsorship and Event Marketing Division. 

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for supporting the strategy and execution of national and regional multicultural marketing programs for Intersport clients.  This position will work closely with the Director and VP, Multicultural on specific accounts and work to deliver best-in-class project development, execution and evaluation.  The role will manage a team of two Account Executives on all aspects of client’s programs.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide logistical account management (includes design, build out and execution)
• Oversee Account Executives (responsible for all logistical troubleshooting/risk assessment)
• Ongoing budget tracking (includes inventoried receipts and internal invoices)
• Manage third party vendor relationships through completion (ensure timelines and deliverables are met)
• Manage specific project timelines and ensure deliverables are met
• Create and develop overall event designs (includes working with clients to manage all artwork)
• Identify and work with final venues (ensure timelines and deliverables are met)
• Market Manager research, selection, procurement and overall management
• Promotional staff research, selection, procurement and overall management
• Implement staffing best practices training
• Identify and procure all lead generation and technology tools
• Track consumer, sponsor and partnership measurement tactics
• Create event planning guides
• Develop event routing, travel and logistics schedules (includes flights, hotels, per diem, insurance, permitting, etc.)
• Manage events and ensure overall flawless execution (includes set-up, teardown and all other logistics)
• Implement key learnings and manage Account Executives toward improvement
• Create all updates and recaps for clients
• Attend client planning and strategy meetings
• Attend events and ensure overall flawless execution
• Work across client organizations to ensure all departments are supported
• Other related duties/projects as assigned including assisting in the development of client deliverables

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in a related field
• 4-6 years in a multicultural marketing role, agency experience a plus
• Deep understanding of the multicultural market (consumers, trends, etc.)
• Experience in implementing events. (ability to travel to events)
• Excellent communication skills (bi-lingual)
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple projects
• Experience managing a team and working in a collaborative environment
• Excellent PowerPoint skills
• Computer proficiency, including MS Word, and Excel
• Willingness to work long hours and travel on weekends

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
